Blue Collar Irons was founded in New York City in 2008. I completed a traditonal tattoo apprenticeship with Tom Wilkinson in NY in 2006. I have been tattooing professionaly since 2007.

After building machines in New York for two years I decided to move the whole operation to Portland Oregon to continue building and tattooing. I currently tattoo full-time @ Jaded Soul Tattoo in Portland.

All my machines are built by hand and individually designed by me. Every machine is one of a kind and are built on a, one at a time, per customer request, basis. Every machine I create is always built with the same tried and true geometry that I have worked so diligently to dial-in to perfection. My machines are built with a slightly longer geometry so they tend to hit hard. These machines are set up to be used only by seasoned tattooers.

Custom builds usually take around two weeks to complete and all custom builds must be paid for in advance and machines are built in the order that they are paid for. There are usually a few machines ready to go on the "for sale" page of this site. All machines come with a lifetime repair warranty. This includes free tune-ups and spring changes for life as well.

Since moving to Portland I have had the fortunate oppurtunity to do some collaborative work with other notable builders such as Seth Ciferri, Mike Pike, Donnie Irish and Clae Welch, just to name a few. So, keep an eye out as these machines become available.

Machines are just like tattoo's, there are good ones and there are cheap ones. These are NOT cheap. These are high end machines for discerning tattooers. If you are not ready to spend $375 to $600 for a machine please do not waste my time.

All machines are available to PROFESSIONAL TATTOOERS ONLY! No exceptions. Period. For those of you that are unclear on what this means; You MUST work in a reputable, professional shop enviroment to purchase a machine.
